McCormick Graduate Leadership Council About MGLC The McCormick Graduate Leadership Council (MGLC) was founded in the summer of 2006 by two graduate students, Binoy Shah and Megan Greenfield, to promote a sense of community among the 700+ graduate students within the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science at Northwestern University. With strong support from the Dean of McCormick, Binoy and Megan set out to create a council of graduate student leaders representing all eight departments within the McCormick School.    Dean Julio Ottino Peers into Art and Sees... Science and Technology! On November 16th MGLC hosted the "Confluences and Bifurcations: How art, science, and technology separated (and may join again)" lecture presented by Dean Julio Ottino of the McCormick school of engineering. MGLC Hosts Social Event Feeding McCormick's Graduate Students Today's hungry Northwestern graduate students from McCormick gathered in Tech to eat wings, drink beer, and to over all just relax. MGLC kicks off preparing future faculty with a panal of three faculty members and free food!
