The mission of the professional committee is to provide professional development opportunities for McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science graduate students. We wish to complement and expand upon the resources presently available throughout the university. Our efforts will be tailored towards making these resources more applicable to the specific needs of the McCormick School graduate students.

Currently, our main goals are to organize career-related seminars and networking opportunities as well as to better advertise the resources already available. Examples of our planned projects include hosting a career workshop series by the University Career Services, attracting more employers looking for graduate students to the SWE Industry Day, and a happy hour with local alumni at Nevin's Pub.
