The mission of the academic committee is to provide academic development opportunities for graduate students in the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science. We have planned a McCormick Interdisciplinary Brown Bag Lunch Series to highlight the work of a McCormick professor whose research is appealing to students from a broad range of the McCormick School departments. We have initiated discussion about a new fund for international travel and study for McCormick graduate students and are working on a McCormick Research Day. We are currently looking into organizing a academic job search infomation session in collaboration with University Career Services.
